Heritage Enlightenment Circles
Many parents find it difficult to discuss racial, ethnic or cultural issues with their children. CHIP provide parent and child with a place to freely express their views on the subject of heritage. Some, feel that heritage discussions should be left up to the church and parents. CHIP encourage enlighten church groups to get involved because this is one of the most important issues of our time. Open discussions are the only way to put race in its proper place.
NuAmericans are confronting this issue with
children because not knowing who you are is a perceived weakness in an
increasingly competitive world. It is imperative that the race issue be faced
head on. Leaving it up to parents alone is to important for the future of our children who will live
and work in NuAmericas. Because individuals
who want to become future economic and social leaders in this diverse nation
must first learn about themselves and their heritage.
CHIP
chapters sponsor Heritage Enlightenment Circles for parents who need assistance
when discussing the heritage of others with their children and the future world they will
grow-up in. Some, parents in the US removed their children from public schools in
order to teach them about their heritage and religion. Private and in home schooling
may not be enough to prepared their children to function in a complex
multi-cultural world. Many young adults will find themselves living in old America and
finding it is difficult to succeed in NuAmericas. In the future international companies will
test applicants for hidden stereotypical views of others, before they hire them,
this will exclude a large segment of our population. NuAmericas can't
afford to have people feeling left out, therefore, we must began today to teach
children the heritage of themselves and others.
